Boasting the brilliant straw yellow colour, enhanced by 30 days on its lees, that is unmistakably Gavi, this bianco from La Raia offers a full, soft mouthfeel with white flower, citrus and toffee aromas.

A soft, versatile Barbera which, in common with the whites from this estate, is matured entirely in small stainless steel containers and, like them, offers intense flavours and a great purity of fruit – particularly red cherry and rosehip.

The Cortese grapes that go into Pisé are selected by hand from some of the oldest vines on the estate before the wine is left on its lees for six months, developing ripe fruit, honey and bread crust flavours and an attractive weight on the palate.

An accessible expression of what really good Nebbiolo should be like; a flirtation between feminine grace and a more muscular power; a soft brush of the lips followed by a slap across the face. Molino’s Nebbiolo displays all that his vineyards have to offerand alongside the fruit and minerality there is a distinct aniseed quality (almost like German rye bread). A good match for game and winter dishes.

A fine, well-balanced chardonnay, with a little oak – fresh, elegant and soft whilst boasting intense ripe fruit flavours of banana, grapefruit and apple. Extremely rare, and one of the classiest examples of chardonnay produced outside the French border.

Fruit-forward in style, this is a remarkably approachable and supple Barolo. Intense, fine flavours of cherry and rosehip linger atop a warm, soft mouthfeel to create a persistent, powerful and excellent value wine.
