A refreshing wine with good balance and body, fresh lime and sour apple notes and a touch of brine. Muscadet Sevre et Maine is a true French classic and a great match for seafood, shellfish, and oysters in particular.

Kurtatsch, at the far southern end of Alto Adige, is rich in warm soils on which both types of Cabernet can ripen very well before being blended into this Cabernet. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the elegant red fruit and cassis, while the Cabernet Franc is the source of piquant, vigorous spices.

This dry white, native to the southern region of Campania, offers an intense yellow colour and touches of ripe pineapple and pear. Soft and balanced in the mouth with a long, aromatic finish.

Made with the Aglianico grape, usually noted for the serious reds it produces, this rosato offers a refreshing balance of crisp minerality and layer upon layer of red fruit and berries.

Boasting the brilliant straw yellow colour, enhanced by 30 days on its lees, that is unmistakably Gavi, this bianco from La Raia offers a full, soft mouthfeel with white flower, citrus and toffee aromas.

A charming red - medium-bodied with a lovely concentration of fresh raspberry fruit and a soft, satisfying finish.

The bright cherry red colour matches the cherry notes of the wine nicely, which are given a complex undertone by spicy notes of herb, nettles and liquorice. A full wine which carries huge amounts of flavour very elegantly indeed.  

With huge amounts of warm, soft and fleshy red berry flavours from the Grenache and a nice lift and bite from the woody notes provided the Syrah, this is a little more accessible than the more expensive offerings from Singla and the perfect wine to enjoy by the fire on a cosy carefree winter's evening. Unusually, the two grape varieties are macerated and vinified together, rather than blended after the event, bringing a unique sense of harmony to the wine.

Domaine de la Paleine's Scherzo shows off the smooth, dry side of Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley. Full, yet subtle flavours of crisp white fruit and a good structure. ldeal for apéritif or any fish dishes.

We have great pleasure in being the first merchant in the UK to bring over the newest appellation in France - AOC Puy-Notre-Dame. With longer maceration and lower yields than the Saumur appellation, this is a concentrated yet delightfully soft and supple expression of Cabernet Franc, showing classic flavours of raspberry and black pepper.
