A superb value red wine, typical of the generous Abruzzo region. An intense red colour, with ruby reflections. A good balance of spice, leather red fruits sit alongside a full, savoury texture and soft tannins.

Young, elegant, and vibrant, with aromas reminiscent of jelly beans, strawberries and liquorice. A refreshing alternative to the usual weighty Spanish reds.

Classic Monastrell (Mourvedre, in the French...), very nicely balanced for the price tag. Rich, dark, earthy fruits and pepper, with some high floral, rose petal notes. 

This youthful gamay is attractively spicy with pure red and black fruit flavours as well as a herbal, edgy character in the finish.

Bright ruby red and a generous and distinctive bouquet. On the nose redcurrant, raspberry, vanilla with a subtle touch of oak. In the mouth structured ripe tannins followed by deep and richly textured fruit.

From Navarra, this Crianza is more than reminiscent of the wine produced just down the road in Rioja, with classic blackberry fruit, spicy leather hints, and notes of vanilla, though definitely showing its own unique style alongside. Intense and creamy on the palate, with smooth, well-integrated tannins, a soft mouthfeel and long finish.

A charming red - medium-bodied with a lovely concentration of fresh raspberry fruit and a soft, satisfying finish.

Showing pure, red fruit and a solid structure, ripe, rich flavours are accompanied by earthier spice notes. The structure and tannin gives this an old world feel, whilst the freshness adds a touch of modernity.

Kurtatsch, at the far southern end of Alto Adige, is rich in warm soils on which both types of Cabernet can ripen very well before being blended into this Cabernet. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the elegant red fruit and cassis, while the Cabernet Franc is the source of piquant, vigorous spices.

We have great pleasure in being the first merchant in the UK to bring over the newest appellation in France - AOC Puy-Notre-Dame. With longer maceration and lower yields than the Saumur appellation, this is a concentrated yet delightfully soft and supple expression of Cabernet Franc, showing classic flavours of raspberry and black pepper.
