Domaine de la Grenaudiere Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2010
(100% Melon de Bourgogne)
A refreshing wine with good balance and body, fresh lime and sour apple notes and a touch of brine. Muscadet Sevre et Maine is a true French classic and a great match for seafood, shellfish, and oysters in particular.
A little about the producer
The domain extends on sunny hillsides between the Sèvre and the Maine rivers, making the most of the diversity of soil in the region and the natural acidity of the grapes. Low yielding old vines, manual picking and sorting, the use of natural yeasts and a prolonged fermentation emphasise a respect for the soil, the vine and the grapes.
