Next Tasting: Diemersfontein, Wellington, South Africa
I know, I know, you wait ages for a tasting from us and then two come along at once. But we are pleased to announce that, as well as our Grapes of the Loire Valley tasting at the beginning of November, we’ll also have Sam Hellyer from Diemersfontein Wine Estate in Wellington, South Africa talking us through eight of his wines, including the cult ‘Coffee Pinotage’, on Sunday 14th October, and we’ll try to rustle up some good South African fare to match. As our first foray into that new-fangled southern hemisphere wine this should be very interesting… the wines will be available to purchase on the day, and if you guys like them, we’ll look at getting them in on a more permanent basis.
