Wine Tastings for Larger Groups

Wine Challenge

The wine challenge is suited to larger groups (work outings, parties, etc.) and is less ‘hands-on’ than our other tastings (i.e. we’re not interrupting you every 5 minutes to talk about wine!), so people that are interested can ask questions; while those that just want to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, the wine, and the company can do so. The tasting includes a competitive element, usually done in teams. The price is £35 per head, and includes:

  • Glass of fizz per person on arrival
  • Tasting samples of six wines
  • A bottle of sparkling wine for the winning team

If a wine challenge isn't quite challenging enough for you, why not add a bit of cheese and wine matching to the mix? As well as our regular challenge (details below) we’ll include an introduction to the ‘rules’ of cheese and wine matching, serve a different cheese with each wine, and see if you can guess which wine we think should go with which cheese!
