Wine Challenge

The wine challenge is suited to larger groups (work outings, parties, etc.) and is less ‘hands-on’ than our other tastings (i.e. we’re not interrupting you every 5 minutes to talk about wine!), so people that are interested can ask questions; while those that just want to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, the wine, and the company can do so. The tasting includes a competitive element, usually done in teams. The price is £30 per head, and includes:
- Glass of fizz per person on arrival
- Tasting samples of six wines
- Olives and crispbreads to nibble on
- A bottle of fizz for the winning team
Online bookings for wine challenges are only available for groups of 8-18 people. We can, though, accommodate as few as 6 and as many as 30 for these tastings, so please use our contact form if you can't find the availability you're looking for.
Please note the following regarding group bookings:
- We don't allow fancy dress, as a courtesy to other guests.
- We ask you to respect other customers and keep noise to a suitable level.
- Depending on the size of your group, you may not all be sitting on the same table - though your tables will all be adjacent to each other.
- It is our policy to take credit card details to secure your booking. These are not used for payment, we still require payment in full on the day of the tasting.
